Why Adoption?

We have chosen adoption because we love being Olivia's parents more than anything in the world. She brings such joy to our lives and we think that we have a lot to offer as parents. We also would love for Olivia to grow up with a sibling because we know how special our bonds with our own siblings are. Erin was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2016 at the age of 31. The cancer was fed by estrogen so Erin has now been on medication for 10 years in order to control the estrogen to insure that she will live a long, healthy life. Erin cannot become pregnant on the medication which is why we chose to use a surrogate to have Olivia and also why we are choosing adoption in hopes of growing our family.

We are so excited for opportunity to provide an amazing life for our children in which they will grow up in a world full of unconditional love, support, and endless encouragement to be their best selves. Our children will have a fun, active life, filled with never ending affection and care from us and our families. We will tell them every day how special they are and how important it was for us to bring them into our lives. While we’ll work on not spoiling our children, we will provide them with all of the tools needed in order to truly succeed in life. We will raise them on a healthy diet and ensure that we afford them with everything that we possibly can to give them the best life imaginable. We offer never ending love and support, a large extended family, a comfortable and secure home, and all of the affection that we can possibly give. We hope to have a great relationship with our birth mother that is open and honest and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering giving us the greatest gift.

Meet The Anthony’s

Meet Erin

Erin was born and raised in Long Island, NY. She went to Loyola University in Baltimore, MD to study Accounting. After graduating, she then moved to New York City for a few years, and finally settled in Long Beach, NY in 2011. Erin enjoys traveling, exercising, Bikram yoga, snowboarding, spending the summers at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. Erin is a CPA and currently works for Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC. I would describe myself as a very nice, approachable, caring, happy and outgoing individual. I always try to look at the positive side of every situation. I’m also very detailed oriented and organized.

Meet Matt

Matt was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He went to the University of Toronto to study Engineering and moved to Long Beach in 2011 for a great job opportunity. Matt enjoys surfing, paddle boarding, traveling, snowboarding, yoga, swimming in the ocean and hanging out at the beach. Matt currently works as a Senior Quality Engineer for Sensitron Semiconductor in Long Island. I would describe myself as being an open, conscientious and agreeable person with the added trait of humility. I believe strongly that my individual growth is dependent on new experiences of all types, meeting new and diverse people and continuous work on self-improvement.

How We Met

We met in Long Beach in 2011. We had both just moved to Long Beach, Erin from NYC and Matt from Toronto. We hit it off, and the rest is history!

Where We Live

We live in a city called Long Beach, NY and our home is just a short walk to the beach! Long Beach is an hour train ride from New York City. It's a very close-knit community where your neighbors are friends and everyone looks out for each other.

We love living in Long Beach and all that it has to offer. During the summer, we live a very active lifestyle of surfing, yoga, bike rides and really enjoying our time outdoors. In the winters, we look forward to driving up to Vermont to go snowboarding with family and friends.

Meet

Olivia

Olivia was born in Ohio via our amazing surrogate, Ashley, in July 2020. We preserved embryos prior to Erin beginning her breast cancer treatment in 2016. In 2018, we began the process of searching for a surrogate to help us make our dream of having children a reality. We met Ashley in 2018 and she became pregnant with one of our embryos in November 2019. We maintain a great relationship with Ashley and keep her updated on Olivia's milestones and accomplishments.

Olivia is now 3 years old and loves to laugh, spend time at the beach, see her friends and family and is truly such a bright light in our lives.
